Adult learning

Opportunities for adult learning in the National Trust for Scotland are varied and cover many different interests.

You can attend talks, events and workshops – or join a guided walk at many of our places. Check our Things To Do pages for some great ideas.

You can also volunteer to work in Trust houses, gardens or wild countryside places. To discuss a work placement, as part of your professional development, please contact the appropriate team with full details of your background and requirements. For more information, visit our Volunteering pages.

This website is filled with interesting articles about how we protect Scotland’s built and natural heritage. Take a look at our Property pages and Stories page to learn more about our special places, collections and recent conservation work.

Since 1931 we’ve been telling the stories of some of Scotland’s most iconic historical places.
