Contract of feu between William Burnes and Alexander Campbell, 22 June 1756. 2 leaves, folio.

William Burnes, Gardener for present at Doonside-miln, of 7 acres and 18 falls of Alexander Campbell's property in the Barony of Alloway, Parish and shire of Ayr, dated 22nd June, 1756.

This contract of feu concerns the land on which William Burnes afterwards built the "auld clay biggen" to which he brought his bride in 1757 and in which his eldest son was born on 25th January, 1759.
