Description
Giltwood frame containing a letter from R. A. Oswald of Auchincruive, Chairman of the Monument Subscription Committee, asking Lord Alloway to donate the site for the Burns Monument.
The frame shows the original letter from the first page, with a photocopy of the second page, alongside the envelope and an explanatory typed note.
