Description
A ceramic saucer, originally part of a breakfast set, which belonged to William Dalrymple (1723-1814), Minister of Ayr.
Bears his initials WD. Made of Lowestoft china. The saucer is set on a green baize material within a giltwood frame. Plaque within the frame explains the provenance, dated January 25th 1955. Presented to Burns Society of the City of New York.
