Description
A replica of the chair used by Mr William Burnes, father of the poet. Rectangular top rail, waved underneath and tapered rectangular splat. Wooden seat painted with Burns verses:
"The Mother, wi' her
needle and her sheers
Gars auld claes look
amainst as weel's the new".
