Description
The snuff box is made from an oak rafter from the ruined Kirk Alloway which features in Burns` celebrated comic tale of `Tam O`Shanter`.
The setting of Alloway Kirk is only half a mile from the Poet's birthplace. The snuff box has silver inscribed plate which indicates has inscribed the name H. Molyneux, Lancaster.
