Description
A black and white engraving depicting the remains of Alloway Kirk. Within light-green cornice. In wooden frame.
This engraving titled "Remains of Alloway Kirk" is by J. Storer. The Kirk which had ceased to be used for worship some hundred years before, is shown with the graveyard in the foreground looking towards the West. It was made famous by the Tam o' Shanter tale by Robert Burns.
