This engraving of the Nasmyth bust portrait of Robert Burns has been set in a frame of scrolled leaves and fruits with the title "Burns" by engraver Charles Heath. It has been coloured in with a green and gold background. Date is unknown but probably mid 1800's.

Burns sat for Nasmyth in Edinburgh during the winter of 1786/7 when the original of this portrait was produced. It now hangs in the National Galleries of Scotland.
