Engraving depicting Jean Burns sitting next to one of her granddaughters, Sarah. On golden background within light-green cornice. In a wooden frame.
The Grandchild is Sarah, daughter of James Glencairn Burn. The portrait from which this engraving is taken was painted from life in 1828. Jean was about 60 years old when the portrait was painted.
