Description
Mahogany armchair with red leather seat attached to chair with brass studs. With carved arm rests, straight top rail and three vase shaped splats, the central with a larger pierced body. On square front legs and tapering back legs with H-shaped cross-stretcher.
This is one of eight chairs said to have been used by Robert while living at Ellisland Farm, from 1788 to 1791.
