Description

Mahogany chair with red leather seat attached to chair with brass studs. Straight top rail and three vase shaped splats, the central with a larger pierced body. On square front legs and tapering back legs with three cross-stretchers.

This is one of eight chairs said to have been used by Robert while living at Ellisland Farm, from 1788 to 1791.
