Burns's Trysting Thorn. Piece of trysting thorn, varnished and containing a quote 'At length I reached the Bennie, Where early life I sported, I passed the Mill and Trysting Thorn, Where Nancy aft I courted'.
Contained in a glazed wooden box with a tapered front. Brass brackets for hanging.
