Service-copy petition by David McClure against William Burnes with warrant of sequestration; also copy replies for D. McClure to the answers of W. Burnes and Execution of sequestration, 1783.

William Burnes was involved in legal disputes with many of his neighbours. In this document, Ayr merchant David McClure makes a complaint against William concerning the unauthorised selling of cattle and unpaid rent at Lochlea Farm.
