Letter from Robert Burns to Mrs Dunlop of Dunlop, dated Castle Douglas, 25 June 1794, Written from a 'solitary inn'.

In the letter, Robert Burns seeks Mrs Dunlop's opinion on the proposed poem "I am just going to trouble your critical patience with the first sketch of a stanza I have been framing as I passed along the road. - The subject is, LIBERTY: you know... how dear the theme is to me".
