Description
Pair of small brass spectacles, in a Mauchline ware case with hinged top and red velvet lining. The case is printed on one side with an image of the Burns Cottage in which Robert Burns was born, and on the other side with the Burns Monument.
Made from wood which grew on the banks of the River Doon, and was purchased at the Burns Monument in the 19th century.
