Description

A black and white platinum print of Burns Cottage with a verse by J. Law below. A note on the reverse of the frame reads 'Platnatype photograph of watercolour drawing in posession of Mr John Cowan 15 Catherine Street Edinburgh. Drawing and verse by J. Law 53 High street Edinburgh' and in another hand 'Presented to Burns Cottage Jany 1882'. In gilt and ebonised wood.
