Description
Portrait of Robert Burns in low relief on one side of the jug surrounded with garland of flowers with 'Robert Burns' written underneath.
The other side has a low relief image of a plough with more flowers and this inscription from Burns's Second Epistle to Lapraik: 'The Social, friendly, honest man, What e'er he be, 'Tis he fulfils great nature's plan, And none but he.'
