White china lion souvenir with four line quotation from Burns's The Dumfries Volunteers on the back, together with the coat of arms of Margate, Kent.. Some gold markings on tail and head. The top rear of the lion features a shield marked Margate below the quote. The underside is stamped 'Savoy China, Stoke-on-Trent, England'.
