Framed painting in oils of a scene in the Cottage kitchen with William Burnes and his wife Agnes with their three children seated round the kitchen fire telling them a story. Painted by E. Cockburn in 1860.
The painting is titled "The Cottars Saturday Night" and a verse of Burns's poem has been written on the back of the canvas. Oil on canvas. In gitlwood frame.
