On tours of Fyvie Castle it’s often wondered why a kitchen isn’t seen, but there’s a good reason for that – the castle’s kitchen is now the location of our tearoom!

Lord Leith made a number of improvements to the castle in the late 19th century, and he had a new, modern kitchen installed in this space. You can still admire the then cutting-edge ranges, all lit by electric lights.

While you take in the surrounds of this Victorian kitchen you can enjoy some of the wonderful treats on offer. We offer soup-and-sandwich lunches, a delicious ‘Butler’s Special’ haggis and cheese toastie, cheese-boards, traybakes and cakes, teas and coffees, ice creams, soft drinks and children’s lunch boxes. The tearoom uses many local suppliers as well as fresh produce from our very own Walled Garden.

If the Scottish weather permits, we also offer dog-friendly, outdoor seating where you can bask in the shadows of the Leith Tower, while your four-legged friends enjoy a drink.
