Designed by William Adam, House of Dun is an early 18th-century Georgian masterpiece. Set amid intricate Victorian gardens, expansive parkland and beautiful woodland, this exquisite venue offers wonderful views of the Montrose Basin and its world-famous nature reserve.
Richly decorated with ornate plasterwork, the grand saloon and adjoining dining room are perfect for drinks receptions, dinners and wedding ceremonies. Outside, the extensive grounds offer limitless opportunities all year round for marquees and outdoor events.
House of Dun is 3 miles west of Montrose and within easy reach of Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth.

From the north or south, take the turn-off for Brechin (from the south ignore Dun turn-off signage). In Brechin either follow the brown tourist signs or signs for Montrose. House of Dun will be found on the left, 6 miles from Brechin (ignore the sat nav as this takes you to the back gate).
