Mackintosh at the Willow is proud to offer a bespoke private dining service in stunning historic rooms designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for Kate Cranston.
We accommodate parties of between 10–200 guests for drinks receptions, canapes, afternoon teas, private lunches, private dinners and much more!
Main Tea Rooms
The Main Tea Rooms consists of the Front and Back Saloons and incorporates the Gallery. This space can accommodate up to 120 guests seated; the mezzanine gallery above the Back Saloon is popularly used for reception drinks before dinner in the lower floor.
With its impressive Baldacchino, skylights and linen wall panels, the Main Tea Rooms is a stunning setting for parties and special events.

Salon de Luxe
The Salon de Luxe is one of the most breathtaking spaces here at Mackintosh at the Willow and can be booked privately for any special occasion. Whether for a graduation celebration, drinks reception or a birthday party, the Salon de Luxe is sure to impress!

Billiard Room
This room was traditionally designed as a masculine space, with only male patrons admitted. In contrast to the Salon de Luxe, the Billiard Room has dark oak panelling and furniture, with lighter touches added in the form of the purple detailing upon the walls.
This historic room can be booked for a private lunch or dinner. Located on the second floor, the Billiard Room is accessible by lift, and there are bathroom facilities on the same level.

Roof terrace
As one of only two south-facing terraces in Glasgow city centre, this space enjoys incredible sunshine and has been carefully designed to show off both the exposed original brickwork and views of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed chimney – an architectural treasure!
With ample seating, floral decorations and lighting, plus use of a pop-up bar, this delightful and unique space is perfect for private parties and special events. We fully cover the terrace and even have heaters for those days where the Glasgow sun isn’t quite shining! The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to relax, with a delicious lunch menu and a carefully curated drinks menu to suit all your spring & summer needs!
