Facilities & access
We have an ongoing programme of accessible content development. Detailed accessibility guides for the most visited Trust places are available on our Accessibility pages as well as links to useful resources.
We’d love you to visit the Euan’s Guide website to review the accessibility of Trust places and tell us (and others) what’s good and where we need to do better.
Disabled visitors may set down closer to the mill by arrangement – please contact reception for instructions.
An accessible toilet is available.
We have bike racks available.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control.
Guided tours are optional. Our friendly staff have so many historical tales to tell – an hour will give you a flavour of mill life! We’re always happy to cater to your interests and answer questions as best we can.
Parking is free.
The banks of the Barry Burn are ideal for picnicking.
Teas, coffees and a selection of goods can be purchased from the shop.
There are some medium-length walks following the Barry Burn. The mill also connects with the Carnoustie path network, which offers lots of local options.
- Wheelchair access to the mill is via a ramp – the ground floor and lower ground floor are accessible, but there are stairs to the first floor.
- There are grass paths around the grounds.
