Home Farm Kitchen

In the old cattle byre of the original Home Farm complex at Culzean, café visitors can enjoy delicious home-made food, freshly prepared in the kitchens. Café food can also be eaten outdoors at the tables in the courtyard.

Swan Pond café and Aviary ice cream parlour

If you find yourselves at the Swan Pond at Culzean, exploring Adventure Cove and the Wild Woodland and reluctant to leave, there is more delicious food available at the Swan Pond café including sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Alternatively, dive into the Aviary ice cream parlour and enjoy one of Mackie’s finest ice creams.

Dogs are very welcome but should be kept under control at all times and must be on a lead in the Walled Garden.

Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the buildings and the adventure playgrounds.

There are two 7kW electric car charging posts at Culzean.

Booking a holiday with the National Trust for Scotland helps us to protect this special place, now and for the future.

Car parks are situated at Home Farm, the Walled Garden and the Swan Pond. Parking is free for members.

Please note that BBQs are not permitted in Culzean Country Park.

Our accessible playground, Adventure Cove, is a perfect space to let your little ones’ imaginations go wild.

For older children, Wild Woodland beautifully mirrors many of the estate’s historical stone features and landmarks, such as the Cat Gates, Orangery and Powder House. This exciting adventure play park and treetop attraction sits within an ancient deciduous woodland spread over an acre of the country park.

Self-guided trail

Home Farm Gift Shop has a range of well-loved National Trust for Scotland favourites and classic souvenir items, as well as tempting seasonal and locally sourced products. Even better, all profits go back into the conservation of Culzean.

Whether you’re after some retail therapy, a last-minute gift or to stock up on greetings cards and your favourite jam, you’ll find it in the Culzean shop.

The shop is open every day and every penny you spend goes back into looking after this special place.

Second-hand bookshop

Get lost in a world of your own by taking a look inside our second-hand bookshop run by friends of Culzean. It’s open daily 11am–3pm.

With fiction, hobbies, classics and children’s books, we have something for everyone. All money raised from the sale of our books directly supports conservation work here at Culzean.
