Walled garden

This splendid 200-year-old walled garden at the heart of Geilston has a timeless charm. From the vibrant display of spring flowering heather, tulips, and rhododendrons to the majestic beauty of the herbaceous border in summer, it is set against the Victorian glasshouse constructed by renowned Scottish manufacturer MacKenzie and Moncur. The glasshouse still plays a vital propagation role for the annual kitchen garden display. The autumn season culminates with rich colours and an abundance of fruit on the apple trees.
