Dogs and their responsible owners are allowed in the garden during operational hours, and there are also several longer walks around the estate – the Pinewood Trail can be accessed from the car park. There is also a dog walking area adjacent to the car park.
We ask that visitors bring only one dog per person, dogs to be kept on a short lead (no extending leads or long leads; we can provide short leads if needed), and for dogs to keep to the designated dog-friendly paths. We also ask dog owners to act responsibly with regard to other visitors and to ensure pet welfare is maintained. Please bring bags and dispose of waste in the facilities provided on site.
If you are lucky enough to be approaching Inverewe from the sea via Camas na Feithe Moire, please call us on 01445 712950 during office hours to secure your berth. Please note our jetty is locked out of hours and there is no access to the garden.
For more information about planning your visit, please see our frequently asked questions.
Wildlife boat trips
Join local fisherman and scallop diver Jamie Elder on one of his amazing cruises aboard his boat, the 31ft Striker, running from the jetty at Inverewe Garden and sailing around the shores of Loch Ewe. The cruises view wildlife on the surface of the loch, underwater, as well as in the skies above!
Pre-booking is essential for our 1- and 2-hour cruises.
Please note that non-members of the National Trust for Scotland will also need to pay for admission to the garden.
