The museum’s Shielings Café serves home baking, hot and cold dishes, children’s meals, and freshly brewed tea and coffees, all with a side of countryside views. Visitors can also take a break in the outdoor picnic area and play park, which features swings, slides, a stationary ride-on tractor, and plenty of wide-open space to run around in and explore.
