Live like a Laird

The Trust has a wide selection of accommodation, from the impressive apartments at Gladstone’s Land in the heart of Edinburgh to the secluded Beaton’s Croft on the romantic Isle of Skye.

For larger gatherings, why not stay in one of our magnificent castle apartments? The Preston Tower at Fyvie Castle in Aberdeenshire sleeps 12 and is one of our most prestigious options. Found within the oldest tower in the castle, you’ll step back in time and live the life of a true Scottish laird.

The Laird’s Wing is found inside Brodie Castle near Forres and offers luxurious accommodation for up to 14 guests. It offers relaxed and inspiring surroundings with original artwork and fine furnishings.

A call from the wild!

For something a little more adventurous, spend some time at Mar Lodge Estate – a truly exceptional location to explore the great outdoors.

Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, this beautifully restored Victorian sporting lodge has five apartments – Braeriach, Bynack, Dalvorar, Derry and Macdui – and can sleep a maximum of 33 guests.

Further accommodation can be found in nearby Claybokie and Creag Bhalg. Both houses have large gardens and uninterrupted views across the River Dee and Glen Ey.
