Schools and Learning Guide to Culzean

Did you know Culzean Castle & Country Park is an amazing place for you and your students to visit? With centuries of Scottish history inside our Georgian castle and thousands of years of geography and ecology in our country park, your class can explore a vast array of topics including history, science and geography (and much more).

Learning at Culzean is designed to be fun, engaging and interactive. We cater for all age groups and abilities. Our learning resources have been written specifically to meet Curriculum for Excellence benchmarks, and our learning approaches are interdisciplinary and interactive, placing your students at the centre of their learning experience.

Travel subsidy

Buses for bairns: Thanks to the support of our members’ centres, we can offer many schools some help towards travel costs to any Trust site. Schools can claim up to £100. Applications must be completed before your visit. Find out more information.
