Taking a ‘Big Stroll’ for the love of Scotland
The kilted duo will trek more than 15 miles at the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise crucial funds to protect Scotland’s history, heritage and natural landscapes.
Paisley-born Craig McGinlay has been an ambassador for the Trust since August 2018. He said: ‘Scotland is blessed with a wealth of history, heritage and some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, all of which have been woven together to unite communities, forge traditions and nurture our unique national spirit. This wouldn’t be the case without the work of the Trust and that’s why it’s so important we support them.’
Rachel continued: ‘I want to encourage everyone to sign up to their local Kiltwalk so we can come together to make a difference for charities across Scotland. Come on, get your walking boots on!’
Craig and Rachel will be joined by thousands of other walkers on Sunday 28 April making the journey from Clydebank to Balloch, raising funds for more than 1,000 Scottish charities in the process.
Thanks to the support from the Hunter Foundation, every pound and penny raised will receive a generous 40% boost.
