This luxury Scottish wedding venue accommodates up to 160 guests and features self-catering accommodation for up to 45 guests. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, Mar Lodge provides a stunning backdrop and unparalleled privacy.

A historic Highland retreat

Mar Lodge is a traditional Highland hunting retreat, steeped in history with royal connections, and is surrounded by ancient forests, rolling glens and majestic landscapes. The venue is adorned with rich wood panelling, period antiques and charming stag heads – all creating a timeless atmosphere for your wedding.

Versatile wedding ceremony and reception spaces

Inside the Lodge, you have a choice of three exceptional wedding ceremony locations: exchange your vows on the balcony of the Grand Staircase, the Craggan Room or in the bright and elegant Drawing Room.
After the ceremony, guests can mingle in the stylish interconnecting public rooms, perfect for a drinks reception in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting.
For your wedding reception, the Craggan Room and the elegant Dining Room offer exquisite spaces for dining and celebrations.

The Stag Ballroom: A unique venue for larger weddings

A short walk from the main Lodge brings you to the impressive Stag Ballroom, a distinctive timber building featuring approximately 2,500 Victorian-era stag antlers. This stunning venue is perfect for larger wedding receptions, evening meals and dancing, creating a memorable party atmosphere.
